Welcome to the latest release of BillingBot! Celestial Vanguard, Version W2501.690, introduces powerful new integrations, enhanced configuration options, and several performance and reliability improvements. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about what’s new, what’s changed, and how to make the most of this update.

🚀 New Features

Ingram Cloud Blue & ITCloud Integrations

We’re expanding your billing capabilities even further with the introduction of Ingram Cloud Blue (Software) and ITCloud Partner (Canada) integrations:

• Ingram Cloud Blue (Software):
  Now seamlessly bring Ingram Cloud Blue software invoices into BillingBot. Configure your Ingram Cloud Blue credentials under Integrations to get started.

• ITCloud Partner (Canada):
  Connect your ITCloud Partner account to automatically process and map your cloud service charges within BillingBot, eliminating manual entry and saving time.

Multi-Integration Charge Processing

For those of you juggling multiple integrations, we’ve introduced new methods for processing charges across different vendors. Whether you have hardware from one provider and software from another, BillingBot now helps you streamline data collection and invoice generation all in one place.

1. Ingram Cloud Blue (Software)

   • Dedicated integration for Ingram software billing
   • Easy setup via the Integrations tab in BillingBot
   • Familiar invoice mapping interface, making it simple to adopt

2. ITCloud Partner (Canada)

   • A brand-new integration to ingest and process ITCloud Partner charges
   • Automatic data mapping to your HaloPSA instance based on your custom rules

Note: Don’t forget you can also leverage our Universal CSV Import (previously introduced) for any vendor that isn’t officially supported yet.

💡 User Experience

Improved Error Handling & User Feedback

BillingBot is now smarter at detecting issues and guiding you toward a solution. From clearer error messages to on-screen instructions, you’ll know exactly what’s gone wrong and how to fix it.

Version Check

We’ve added a version check that helps ensure you’re always on the latest and greatest version. When you launch BillingBot, it will notify you if a newer release is available—so you can stay up to date effortlessly. If BillingBot notifies you that your version is out of date, please clear your cache for BillingBot.app and reload the console. BillingBot will not allow you to proceed using the platform with a mismatched version to prevent data corruption.

Connection Check

We’ve added a connection check that helps ensure you’re always connected to HaloPSA successfully before performing operations. The Connection Check indicator is shown in the left nav menu. After one minute, BillingBot will attempt to automatically negotiate with HaloPSA to confirm connectivity. You can also click on the indicator to force a connection check. Hovering over the connection check indicator will show you the current connection status.

Invoice Charges Grid Improvements

You can now hover over charges in the invoice grid to see the original description from Pax8. This will help you easily locate charges in places like your home tenant that you need to cross map to other companies.

Updated Dependencies & Packages

We’ve brought our underlying libraries and packages up to date, improving stability, security, and speed behind the scenes.

Optimized Data Processing

Whether you’re running one integration or many, our new optimizations reduce the load on your system and speed up the time it takes to gather, map, and post your charges. Enjoy faster load times and more efficient monthly billing cycles.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Refined Credential Validation Process
  We’ve tightened up how BillingBot checks and saves your credentials, preventing invalid configurations from being accepted and improving integration reliability.

• Improved Error Logging & Reporting
  Error logs are now more descriptive, helping our support team identify root causes quicker and deliver solutions faster. If something does go wrong, you’ll have better visibility into what happened and why. We always recommend using the in-app support contact request when seeking assistance, as it automatically forwards relevant logs to the support team on creation.

⚠️ Breaking Changes

• Removed Legacy Integration Methods
  Some older code paths for handling integrations have been deprecated. If you’ve been using these legacy endpoints or workflows, you will be notified and forced to migrate to the newer integration system.

• Updated Configuration & Authentication Mechanisms
  We’ve introduced changes to how BillingBot authenticates with certain third-party services. BillingBot will notify you if you need to update credentials. If you receive a notification, be sure to review your Integration Settings to confirm your credentials are correct and up to date.

📋 Administrative Notes & Recommendations

1. Integration Setup:
   After updating, head to your Integrations tab to explore the new Ingram Cloud Blue and ITCloud Partner integrations. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your credentials and tailor the configuration to your needs.

2. Stay Updated:
   With the new version check in place, keep an eye on BillingBot’s launch screen to be sure you’re always on the latest version.

3. Documentation:
   We continue to expand our online documentation. Visit our Documentation Portal to learn about best practices, troubleshooting tips, and step-by-step guides for all new features.
